  • The institute Conducted Outcomes based Engineering Education for Enhanced Employability workshop for B.Tech Students on 19th & 21st January, 2015 by Dr.P. G. Sastry.
  • The institute conducted online tests on Aptitude, English and Technical for all B.Tech students
  • 30 teams consisting of 100 students are participating in the IBM TGMC-a National level project competition.
  • The institute conducted One IBM DB2 and IBM Lotus workshop. 132 students attended these workshops.
  • The Institute also deputes faculty members for Technical Teacher Training at IIIT, Gachibowli during summer vacation.
  • The institute conducted Knowledge Marathan for the students of all branches to exhibit their knowledge in Aptitude, Reasoning and English. The event also provided the opportunity to the students for team buildings.


  • MLR IT firmly believes that institute and industry interaction are the prime focus areas for any Student to Excel them self. The Institute encourages the students to take up Mini Projects and Summer Internship Programmes in MNC’s like Boeing, Infotech Enterprises, DRDL, NAL & IIT-Bombay etc
  • Two students of IV-B.Tech – Aeronautical are undergoing Internship at Boeing, one student at IIT-Bombay, one student at DRDL, one student at NAL  and one student at Inoftech Enterprises


  • “ZAVTRA’2K15 – A National level paper presentation contest will be conducted every year in all departments during the II-semester. For the Year 2015. The Institute has organized “Zavtra 15” a Techno Management Event where 42 Events were conducted and attracted wide attention among the student community (4000 students participated in various events).

a). Computer Science & Engineering (CSE):

  • Infosys Campus Connect: MLR Institute of Technology has been listed as one of the advanced colleges by Infosys Campus Connect Team, which was announced in the Principals meet held on 08th February, 2013 at Infosys – Hyderabad.
  • The Institute is conducting Infosysfoundation program on Technical & Soft Skills for the last 5 years for student enablement. During the year, one Technical and two softskills batches have conducted. 180 students attended this program.
  • The institution is also conducting Certificate in Information Technology (CIT) programme of IIIT-Gachibowli. One batch of students has completed the Certification programme duging the year.
  • The Institute organizes industrial visits to Infosys to participate in their SPARK Programme.
  • The Institute has IBM Center of excellence. Under its banner, the institute conducts, IBM Certification programmes.

      • Guest lecture on “Aerospace Vehicle systems and materials” by Dr T V Karthikeyan (Sc-F), in ASL, DRDO.
